Royal English Medium School

We are situated at 21/6 Pratap Nagar, right on the A.G. Patil-Pratapnagar Road in the Vijapur Road area of Solapur. This part of the city is near Soregaon. Our school is an English medium one, so we do our best to teach all the subjects in English for the local children. The building is a simple one that sits right among the other houses and shops in the neighborhood. We have various classes and most of our students just walk here from the streets nearby. Inside, the classrooms have rows of wooden desks and benches that have seen a lot of use over the years. We keep some charts and maps on the walls to help the kids with their geography and science lessons. It gets quite warm in Solapur for most of the year, so we keep the ceiling fans going all day. The teachers are mostly people from this community who know the students and their families personally. We follow the regular school calendar with the usual holidays and exam periods. There is a small area for the children to gather for morning prayers or a bit of exercise before classes start. It is a busy place and can get quite noisy during the breaks. We do not have many fancy extras, just the textbooks and the blackboards. We just want the kids to study hard so they can do well.
