It’s a fairly new part of town that’s still growing. Oyster International School And Junior College has a lot of students of different ages. The younger ones are downstairs and the older college students are usually further up. It’s a bit of a mix. We have a lot of concrete and the sun hits the building hard in the afternoons. We try to keep the place ventilated. The staff is a mix of people who have been here since we started and some newer faces. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture, just what’s needed for a classroom. The lunch break is the loudest part of the day, with everyone out in the corridors or sitting on the steps. We spend a lot of time on admin work, like checking attendance and organizing exams. It’s not a very glamorous job, but it’s important. We don't have a lot of promotional things to say. We are just a school in Solapur where people come to learn. The road outside is often busy with trucks, so we keep the gates shut for safety. It’s just our daily life here, keeping things organized and making sure everyone is where they should be. We just keep at it.
