Tembhurni is a place people usually just drive through on the way to other parts of Solapur, but for us, it's home. Arya Public School is right here in the middle of it. We see a lot of students coming in from the nearby farms and smaller villages. The school building is pretty straightforward, nothing too fancy to look at from the outside. Inside, we have our rows of desks and the usual charts on the walls. We spend our mornings getting the registers ready and making sure the classrooms are opened up before the sun gets too high. It gets dusty around here, especially when the wind picks up, so there is always a bit of sweeping to do. We don't have a big corporate office or a marketing team. Most of what we do is just talking to parents at the gate or fixing a broken chair when we need to. It’s a practical kind of place. The kids bring their own tiffins and eat under the shade when it's break time. We just focus on the lessons and making sure the school stays running properly. There’s always a list of things to fix or books to order, so the days go by pretty fast for everyone working here. We like the quiet of the evening once all the students have headed back home. It is a long day every day.
