Le Mont High School

We’ve been here in Ahmednagar for a good while now. Le Mont High School sits right in the 413201 zip code area, and it’s usually pretty busy starting from early morning. You’ll see the buses pulling up and the kids running around before the bell rings. It’s a plain building, nothing too fancy, but it does the job. Most of us who work here live nearby too. We spend our days dealing with math problems, history dates, and the usual playground scrapes. The classrooms have big windows, which is nice when there is a breeze, but sometimes it gets a bit hot in the afternoons. Parents stop by the office to drop off forgotten lunch boxes or talk about how their kids are doing. It’s just a normal school day, day in and day out. Sometimes the plumbing acts up or we have to paint the walls again because someone drew on them, but that is just how it goes. We have a small library where it’s actually quiet for once. Usually, though, there is a lot of chatter in the hallways during break time. We try to keep things organized, though with hundreds of students, it can get a little chaotic. That is just life at a high school in this part of town. We’ve seen a lot of kids grow up and move on from here. It’s a lot of work, but we are used to it. The bell rings at the end of the day and we do it all again tomorrow.
