Survarse English Medium High School

We are based out of Solapur, specifically in the 413003 area code. Being a high school, things can get a bit serious around here, especially when the board exams are approaching. Solapur is known for being quite hot and dry, and our school reflects that local grit. We don’t have many frills or fancy equipment, but we do have plenty of desks and teachers who show up every day to do their jobs. The students come from all over the city, and you can see them walking or cycling in groups every morning. It’s a lot of teenagers in one place, so there’s always some drama or excitement happening in the corridors. We spend a good chunk of our time just managing the schedule and making sure we have enough supplies for the labs and classrooms. It’s an English medium school, which is important to the families here, but the conversations in the staff room are a mix of everything. The building has seen many years of use, and you can tell by the way the stairs are worn down in the middle. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. We are just a local high school trying to help the youth of Solapur get their certificates so they can move on to college or work. It’s a steady, daily grind that we’ve grown used to over the years, and we wouldn't have it any other way. There's always work to be done.
