Mohol is a place where the sun really beats down on you. Shri Satvik Farmers Producer Company Limited is located at Gat No 305 in Pokharapur. We picked the name "Satvik" because it means something pure and honest, which is how we try to live. We are just farmers who decided to pool our resources. The address in A/P Pokharapur is just a piece of land with a small structure on it where we keep our tools and some of our supplies. It’s a very quiet area, mostly just fields as far as you can see. We spend our mornings checking the irrigation pipes and making sure the soil is getting what it needs. It’s not a glamorous job. We get covered in dirt and our clothes are usually stained with mud. We don't have any fancy "About Us" pages written by experts. We are just writing this ourselves to let people know where we are. Dealing with the government paperwork is probably the hardest part of the job; we’d much rather be out in the fields. The community in Mohol is tight, and we all try to support one another when the prices are low. It’s a lot of waiting on the rain and hoping for the best. We take pride in what we grow, even if it’s just a small amount. Every day is different, but the goal is always just to keep the farm going.
