Down in Tembhurni, specifically over at Ghanshyam Nivriti Patil’s place, you will find what we are doing with Pravirasya Hridayam Agro Private Limited. Madha is a place where everyone knows everyone’s business, so we try to keep things straightforward. We started this company because we wanted to have more control over what happens to our produce after it leaves the field. It’s not a fancy operation with a lot of employees. Most of the time, it’s just us doing the chores and then sitting down to look at the books. We wanted a name that meant something to us, even if it’s a bit of a mouthful to say. Living out here means you have to be tough and patient. You can’t rush the crops, and you can’t rush the seasons. We take that same approach to how we run things. There aren't any big offices here, just the open air and the houses we grew up in. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just want to sell our stuff for a decent price so we can keep the farms running for another year. It is hard work, and our hands are rarely clean, but it’s what we know. Tembhurni is our home, and this company is just part of our daily life now. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't, just farmers looking after our own interest and helping out where we can.
