Pandharpur Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our group is based out of Kasegaon, which is near Pandharpur in the Solapur district. We use a space at Vishal Jaysingrao Deshmukh’s place, located at Gat Number 1907/2/A/2/A. This is a company made by farmers for the benefit of other farmers. Pandharpur is a famous place for pilgrims, but for us, it is all about the land and the crops around here. We work together to help sell what we grow and get the right supplies at the right time. It is a very local thing. We do not have any fancy marketing people writing for us or making things look better than they are. We just write what we know. The office is really just a meeting point where we sit and discuss the plans for the upcoming season. Solapur can be very dry and hot, so we have to coordinate well to make sure everyone's crops survive the season. It is hard work and the days are usually very long.
