Our office is at House Number 4578/K/2, right at Juna Karad Naka in Pandharpur. We are situated directly opposite the Urban Bank, which makes it pretty easy for people to find us. We started Nandprakash because we felt like the farmers around Pandharpur needed a local place to organize their sales and supplies. It’s a busy area, so there’s always noise from the street coming through the windows. The office itself is quite small and filled with bags of grain and old ledgers. We don’t have any fancy furniture, just a few chairs and a table where we sit to discuss the prices. It’s an honest way to spend the day, even if it gets a bit overwhelming when everyone shows up at once. We don't have a big mission statement or anything like that. We just want to make sure the work gets done and everyone gets a fair deal. Some days we spend more time talking to the bank across the street than we do in the office. It’s a lot of running around and making phone calls to see who needs what. Being in Pandharpur is great because we are right in the middle of everything. We’ve known most of the people who come through our door since they were kids. It feels more like a community spot than a business sometimes. We just keep our heads down, work through the pile of papers on the desk, and try to be helpful to our neighbors.
