We are just neighbors who live and work right here in Marawada. Our meetings happen in a regular room, and we keep all our books there too. It’s a very simple operation. We talk about what seeds to buy and how to get a better price for what we grow. Sometimes the work is slow and the paperwork feels like it takes forever, but we stick with it because we have to. Sunil Shamrao Jadhav was kind enough to let us use this space for our base. If you walk down the street in Mangalwedha, you’ll find us easily enough. We don't have any big signs or advertisements. People just know us by word of mouth. It is just real people trying to make a living from the land we’ve always known. We are doing this for the next generation of women farmers.
