Jividha Farmers Producer Company Limited

We are at A-304 in Siddhivinayak Vihar. It’s right near Matalwadi Phata. Most days, Jividha Farmers is just a few of us sitting around a table trying to figure out the best way to move our crops to the market. It isn’t some big fancy setup. We have some folders stacked up and a lot of mud on the floor from people coming in from the fields. The traffic at the Phata can get pretty loud in the mornings, but we’re used to it by now. We started this because doing things alone as farmers is just too difficult these days. Prices go up and down and you never know what the weather will do. Here, we talk about what seeds worked and who is buying what this season. It’s mostly just practical stuff. We don't have a big staff, just local folks who know the land. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit much, but we get through it. The apartment isn't huge, but it's enough for what we need. We spend more time out at the farms anyway than sitting in that office. If you come by, you might find us drinking some tea and looking at grain samples. It’s a simple life, and we like it that way. We just keep our heads down and work on getting things done for the members in this part of the country.
