We are basically a group of farmers here in Lonar, working out of Santosh Dadarao’s place in Dole. It started because we were all facing the same problems with seeds and getting a fair price for what we grow. Buldhana is a tough place for farming sometimes when the rains don't come on time. We decided to register as Jijaukrushnaikranti Farmer Producer Company Limited because doing things alone wasn't working anymore. It is not some big corporate setup with fancy desks. Mostly, it’s just us sitting together, trying to figure out how to get better tools or where to sell our crops without getting cheated by the middleman. The address is just where we keep our papers and meet up. We deal with the daily stuff, like fertilizers and checking on each other's fields. It is a slow process, and we make mistakes, but at least we are doing it ourselves now. Most of us have been farming since we were kids, so we know the land well, even if we don't know much about the big city business ways. We just want to make sure our families can keep going and maybe the next generation doesn't have it as hard as we did. Being in a small village like Dole, news travels fast, and everyone knows everyone, so we have to be honest with what we do here.
