You can find us at Ramchandra Tukaram Sarawale’s place in Mohol. We are at GNo. 651. Jidda means being persistent or having a bit of grit, which is what you need if you’re a farmer in this part of the country. We are a group of people from around Mohol who decided to form this company. We all have our own land and we grow various crops, but we found that working together makes things a bit more manageable. The office is just a simple room where we keep our files and meet up when the sun goes down and the field work is finished. It’s not a polished environment. We talk about the rain, the soil, and the prices at the market. Sometimes we have long discussions about what we should do next, and it’s not always easy to get everyone to agree. But we are all in this together. We don't have any marketing people or a sales team. We just handle the grain and the supplies ourselves. It’s hard work and the days are long, but that’s the life of a farmer. We are just trying to get a better deal for the local guys and make sure we can keep our farms running for another year. It’s an honest, basic operation. We don’t try to be anything we’re not. We just work the land and run our company.
