Jaybhoomi Aadarsh Farmers Producer Company Limited is located in Bodagaon in the Dhule district. We run things from Avinash Anandrao Patil’s house. It’s a quiet village where almost everyone is connected to farming in some way. We started this whole thing to bring the local farmers together so we could have more say in how our crops are sold. Our days usually start before the sun comes up because that is when the work in the fields begins. The office isn't much to look at; it’s just a practical space where we can sit down to look at our records and plan for the next month. We have a lot of long talks about things like soil quality, water issues, and where to find the best buyers. Sometimes these discussions turn into arguments when people disagree, but that's just because everyone is passionate about their livelihood. We don't have any corporate training or fancy titles here. We just talk to each other like the neighbors we are. Dhule is a tough place to be a farmer because the weather can be so unpredictable, but we have all been at this for a long time. We handle all the paperwork and the logistics that come with running a producer company. It involves a lot of coordination and some days are harder than others. But in the end, we are just village folks trying to make things better.
