That’s where Gautam Zumbar Gangawane has his place, and that’s the heart of Gurav Pimpri Farmer Producer Company Limited. We are just local farmers who realized that working as a group is a lot smarter than struggling on our own. Ahmednagar has its challenges, especially when the rains are late, so we try to help each other out with equipment and advice. Our meetings are usually held outside under a tree or in the main room of the house when it's too hot. We don't have a receptionist or fancy desks, just a few chairs and a lot of ledgers. We deal with the daily realities of farming—bugs, market prices, and broken machinery. Every season brings a new set of problems, but we've lived here all our lives, so we just figure it out. We spend a lot of time checking on each other's fields and making sure the harvest is moving along. It’s not always organized perfectly, and sometimes we argue about the best time to sell, but that’s just how it goes when you’re working with your neighbors. We’re proud of the crops we pull from this ground. It's honest work and it keeps the village going. We don't need much more than that to stay busy and keep the farms productive for our families.
