Godafarms Agrofresh. It’s based out of House Number 31 in Pangra Shinde. This is Suryaji Dattarao Shinde’s place. We are in the Basmat area of Hingoli. Things are simple here. We mostly deal with fresh produce from the farms around the village. It’s a group of us coming together to manage our crops better. People know the Shinde house in the village, so it’s easy to find us if you’re passing through. We don't have a big office or anything, just the space we use at the house. Dealing with agrofresh stuff means we have to stay busy during the harvest times. It’s hard work, but it keeps the local economy moving a bit. Hingoli is a quiet place and we like it that way. Most of us have been farming here for years before we decided to put a name on what we do. It’s not about being fancy, just getting the work done every day. We handle the sorting and making sure everything is fresh before it goes out. If you walk down to At Post Pangra Shinde, you’ll see how we work. It’s just how things go in the village. We wanted to make sure our families had a way to get their goods to more people without too much trouble. It’s a local setup for local farmers, really. Nothing more to it than that. Just trying to grow good things and keep the farm going. That is what we are about, just being part of the community and working the land like we always have.
