Gangadharrao Ghule Farmer Producercompany Limited is based in Ghatnandur. It’s a part of the Ambajogai taluka in the Beed district. We run things out of Gangadhar Ghule’s place. He’s been around here forever and knows everyone. Beed isn’t the easiest place to be a farmer, the weather is often against us. We got together because we thought we’d have more weight if we were a company instead of just separate families. Ghatnandur is a small town and news travels fast. We don't have any polished signs or a front desk. Mostly we just meet in the courtyard and discuss what needs to be done for the month. We use the local post office for all our mail. It’s a very local thing. We don't have any employees from the city, just our own people from the village. The paperwork can be a real pain, but we help each other out with it. We don't spend money on advertising because we don't need to. Everyone in the Ambajogai area knows where we are. We just want to make sure the work gets done and the crops get sold. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. We aren't trying to be something we're not. We are just a group of farmers in Ghatnandur trying to make the most of what we have.
