Five Elements Farmer Producer Companylimited

Our group is located at house 882 in Nannaj, which is part of the Jamkhed area in Ahmednagar. It is a dry region, so we have to be careful with how we use what we have. The name Five Elements is just something we picked because it felt right for what we do with the land and water. We are basically a bunch of farmers who decided to team up. It is better than trying to do everything alone. Every day we meet up and figure out what the priority is. Maybe it is fixing a fence or checking on the irrigation. Ahmednagar gets quite dusty during the summer months, and you can feel it in the air. We are not trying to change the world; we just want to get our produce to where it needs to go. The village of Nannaj is small, so everyone knows everyone. If someone has a problem with their crop, they usually walk over to number 882 and we talk it out. It is a very practical way of living. We do not use big words or have long meetings. We just look at the fields and see what needs to be done. It is hard work, and the sun is hot, but that is just how it is here. We keep the books, talk to the other farmers, and try to stay ahead of the seasons. There is no polish to it, just regular people working the ground.
