Dnyaneshwar Mauli Agro Producer Company Limited

We are based in Chousala, out in the Beed district. The office is actually at Panjabrao Sahebrao Shinde’s place on Rumba Galli. It’s a group for farmers, mostly just trying to get things organized here in our part of Maharashtra. We started Dnyaneshwar Mauli Agro because people around here needed a way to work together on the crops. It's not a big fancy office, just a room where we meet and talk about seeds and what the weather is doing to the harvest. Sometimes the rain doesn't come when it should, and other times it's too much. Being in the post Chousala area, we know the soil well. It is a lot of hard work every day. We handle the paperwork and try to figure out the market prices together. It gets busy during the planting season. Everyone knows Panjabrao’s spot, so people just drop by when they have a question or need to sign something. We don't have a big website or anything like that. We just focus on the fields and the trucks moving the produce out. It’s just us, the local guys from the village, trying to make sure the farming side of things stays moving. If you walk down Rumba Galli, you'll see where we are. It’s pretty quiet most afternoons unless it’s harvest time. Then everything gets a bit chaotic. That's just how it goes here in Bid-431122. We have been working like this for a while now and we just take it one season at a time. It's not always easy, but we keep going because the work needs doing.
