We run Dipratn Farmer Producer Company Limited out of Dadarao Janadran Gawande’s house in Pathrad. It’s a small village in the Ner taluka, part of Yavatmal. If you know this area, you know the soil can be tricky. We’ve all been farming here for as long as we can remember. Getting organized as a company was something we talked about for years before actually doing it. Now, we use this spot at 445102 to coordinate what we’re growing. It’s mostly just us locals. We aren’t some big city operation. We do the work ourselves, from planting to hauling the bags. Sometimes the meetings go long because everyone has a different opinion on the market. That’s just how it goes when you’ve got a bunch of farmers in one room. Yavatmal is known for its agriculture, and we’re just a small part of that. Being at Pathrad means we’re close to the fields we work every day. It’s a busy life, and we don’t have time for anything polished. We just want to make sure the crops get sold for a fair price so we can keep going next season. It’s a bit messy sometimes, with all the logs and the scheduling, but we get it done. Just a group of neighbors trying to do better for each other in our little village. We don't have any big secrets, just a lot of hard work and some basic teamwork.
