Dakshpatil Farmers Producer Company Limited is based in Aland, which is part of the Phulambri taluka. We use Sow Sonabai Namdeo’s place as our home base for the company. We are just a group of neighbors who have been farming in this area for as long as we can remember. We finally decided to make things official by starting this producer company. The main reason was to help each other get better access to tools and markets. It’s not easy being a farmer these days, so having a group behind you helps quite a bit. We don’t have a big staff or anything like that. It’s just us doing the work in the fields and then coming together to handle the paperwork and the sales. We keep things simple and practical. If you come by Aland, you’ll see we’re just regular people trying to do right by our land and our families. We talk about the rain, the pests, and the prices more than anything else. The company is a tool for us, like a tractor or a plow. It’s there to help us get the job done. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words or polished brochures. We just want to make sure the farming life stays viable for all of us here in Phulambri. It’s a tough job, but it’s what we know and what we do every single day of the year.
