It’s a quiet spot, mostly surrounded by the same kind of fields you see all across this part of the country. We started this because the individual struggle was getting to be too much for some of us. Working as a group makes the long days feel a little shorter. The ground here in Sangola can be stubborn, and you have to know it well to get anything to grow properly.
