Our business, Bhosle Patil Jaggery Farmer Producer Company Limited, is located at S No 85 in Hamrapur. We focus on jaggery because that is what we know best. Making jaggery is a long process and it gets very hot near the crushers and the boiling pans. We spend our days out in Hamrapur working with the cane and making sure the quality is what it should be. It is a sticky, messy job, but there is something good about seeing the final product come together. We are not a massive factory. It is more of a local operation where the families around here contribute. We do not have a lot of fancy machinery; we do a lot of it the way it has always been done.
