Agriport Farmer Producer Company Limited is located at Gat No. 97/2A/2B in Rajmathanagar. We are a group of farmers who decided to stop doing everything alone and start working as one unit. The address 413101 is our home base. It’s a plain building where we gather to talk about the prices and the weather. Being a producer company means we all have a stake in it and look out for one another. We don't have a CEO in a suit; we have guys who know how to drive a tractor and plant seeds. Rajmathanagar is where most of us live and work anyway, so it was the best place for us. We handle the collection of produce and try to find buyers who won't underpay us for all our hard work. It’s a lot of heavy lifting, literally and figuratively. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit much, but we help each other through the forms. The office is often full of samples or tools that someone left behind. It isn't the cleanest place because there is always something being moved around. We don't spend money on marketing because we'd rather put that back into the farm or the equipment. If you come by, you’ll see us just doing what needs to be done. It’s a straightforward way of living that we are used to. We just hope for a good rain and decent market prices every season and try to stay optimistic about the future of our small group.
