Shubhanker Naturals Bio Energy Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of Bharauli, in the Kurshi area. We use the space at Vijay Kumar Shukla’s place to run things. We are a farmer producer company, which means we are owned by the people who actually work the land. Our focus is on bioenergy and natural ways of doing things. It’s a small operation here in Bharauli. We don’t have many resources, so we have to be smart about how we use what we have. Most days are spent talking to local farmers about their waste products and how we can turn that into something better. It’s not a glamorous job at all. There is a lot of dirt and heavy lifting involved in this kind of work. We don’t have a website or a big office in the city. We just stay here in Kurshi and do our work. People know us as their neighbors first and a company second. We try to keep things honest and straightforward. If there’s a problem, we just talk it out over some tea in the afternoon. It is a very local way of doing business. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to make sure the farmers here have a way to benefit from bioenergy. It takes a lot of time to get things moving, but we are patient. We just take it day by day and see what happens with each new harvest season.
