Sitamarhi Farmers Producer Company Limited

Sitamarhi Farmers Producer Company is located out in Village Morsand, right in Ward 7. It’s under the Runnisaidpur police station area. We are basically a group of farmers who decided to get together to make things a bit easier for ourselves. Instead of everyone working alone, we handle our stuff as a collective. It’s not always easy because everyone has their own opinion on how to grow things or when to sell. We meet up in Morsand to talk about seeds, fertilizers, and who is buying what this season. It’s a very local thing. Most of us have known each other since we were kids, playing in these same fields. We don't have a big corporate office; we usually just meet where there’s space, often near the post office. The goal is just to get a better deal for our crops and make sure no one gets left behind. We deal with the realities of farming in Sitamarhi, which means dealing with floods sometimes and the heat other times. It’s hard work, and our hands are usually dirty from the soil. We don’t have fancy logos or big advertisements. We just have our land and our neighbors. We try to help each other out with equipment and knowledge. It’s just how we do things here in the village. We’re just a bunch of farmers trying to make a living together, year after year, without much of a break. It's tough but we keep at it.
