Hasanpur Litchi Producer Company Limited

We are based out of Balbhadarpur village, specifically in the Tola-Balbhadarpur area of the Devdha panchayat. This is part of the Hasanpur block. Being a litchi producer company means our lives are very much tied to the seasons of the fruit. We don't have a high-rise office; our work happens right here in the village where the trees are. Most of the people involved are local farmers from the area who have been growing litchi for generations. We formed this company to handle the business side of things together. It’s a lot of meetings under the shade or in a small community room where we figure out the picking and the transport. Hasanpur is known for its litchis, so we are right in the middle of where the action is. Our address might seem a bit long with all the panchayat and block details, but that’s just how things are mapped out here in rural Bihar. We don’t go in for fancy mission statements. We just want to make sure the litchis from Balbhadarpur get to where they need to go. When it’s harvest time, everything is very hectic and there isn't much time for anything else. The rest of the year is spent preparing and making sure the trees are looked after. It’s a very hands-on type of business, and we prefer it that way. We talk to each other like neighbors because that’s exactly what we are, working together under the company name.
