You can find us over in New Basti at Narayan Singh’s place. He’s the son of Maharaj Singh, and the family has been here a long time. We set this company up to help the local growers in Ikalguwan get a better handle on their business. It’s a lot of coordinating between different farms. We aren't some big corporation with a tall building. We’re just working out of a regular house in the neighborhood. Usually, there’s some tea going and someone is looking over a list of supplies. We handle the stuff that farmers don't have time for when they are out in the sun all day. It’s practical, everyday work. We deal with seeds, tools, and sometimes help with getting the crops to the buyers. It’s not always smooth sailing. Sometimes the truck is late or the prices aren't what we hoped for. But that is just part of the life. We don’t use any big words or complicated marketing. We just say what we do and try to do it right. People around New Basti know us well enough. If someone needs help with their agricultural paperwork or wants to join the group, they just walk through the door. It’s a very open way of doing things. We’re just regular people trying to make a living from the land. We don't have fancy titles here, everyone just helps out where they are needed most.
