Fruits And Oilseeds Vijaypur Producer Company Limited

We are based out of Hausala Prasad’s spot in Rampur Kishanpur. It’s a small operation where we handle fruits and different kinds of oilseeds. Most of us involved are local folks from around Vijaypur. We started this because we wanted a better way to manage what we grow on our farms. The office is just a room in the house where we keep the books and meet up. You can usually find a few of us sitting there talking about the next harvest or the price of mustard seeds. It’s not a corporate environment at all. We wear our work clothes and usually have dirt on our boots. That is just how it is when you work with the land. Rampur Kishanpur is a quiet place, mostly farms and small houses. We spend our days checking the trees and the fields. When the fruit is ready, things get very busy. We have to move fast before things spoil. The oilseeds are a bit easier since they can sit for a bit. We don't have any big mission statements. We just want to make sure the crops get sold and the farmers get paid. It’s practical work for practical people. If you come by, you’ll probably see us loading sacks or checking the quality of the seeds. We keep it simple and honest. That’s the way we like to do things here. It's just a few of us trying to make the farm life work.
