Hazur Sahib Farmer Producer Company Limited is in Pacca Shahidan in Sirsa. We are located near the veterinary hospital. Jangir Singh’s place is where we meet, specifically house 83. We started this because we wanted to work together as a group in Sirsa. The veterinary hospital is right nearby, so people are always passing by the area. It’s a good spot to catch up on what’s happening in the village. Jangir Singh has been around here for a long time, and his house is where we keep our papers. Farming in this part of Haryana is what we know. We don't try to act like a big city company. We are just farmers who put our names together. Some days we talk about seeds, and other days we talk about the market prices in Sirsa. It gets very hot here in the summer, but that’s just how it is. We have a few members now. Everyone knows everyone in Pacca Shahidan. We are not looking for anything complicated. We are just trying to get the crops grown and sold without too much trouble. Sometimes the electricity for the pumps is an issue, but we deal with it. We hope to keep things going for the younger guys coming up in the village. It’s honest work and we do it every day. It is not always easy, but we are used to the hard work in the sun.
