We are over at House Number 38 in Village Randhawa, which is in the Sirsa district. Shree Karni Kirpa Farmer Producercompany Limited is the name we use for our collective. It’s a local effort. We are just a group of neighbors who decided to join up to handle our farming business. Sirsa is a big farming area, and Village Randhawa is where we live and work. We don't have a professional office staff. It's usually just one of us sitting at a desk with a notebook while the others are out in the fields. We help with things like buying fertilizers in bulk and getting the tractors repaired. When the harvest comes around, this house gets very busy. There are trucks coming and going all day. We do the best we can to keep everyone's orders straight. It's an honest living. We don't use any corporate jargon or make big promises. We just try to get the work done and hope the weather stays fair. Sometimes the monsoon is too heavy and sometimes it doesn't rain enough. We just deal with it as it comes.
