Vardhman T T College

Vardhman T T College is situated out on the Jaipur-Bikaner Bypass Road in the Gokulpura area of Sikar. If you’ve ever been to this part of Rajasthan, you know it can get quite hot and the landscape is pretty open. We are located right along that bypass, so we get a lot of dust and the sound of trucks passing by from time to time. The college is where people come to get their teacher training done. It is a large enough building to hold our classes and labs, but it’s quite plain to look at. We don’t see the point in decorating things too much when the main goal is just to study and pass exams. The students come from Sikar and the surrounding villages, often traveling a good distance to get here. Inside, the rooms are kept as cool as possible with fans, and the atmosphere is generally one of hard work. We have a lot of paperwork to deal with, and the students are usually busy with their teaching practice or theory notes. It is a bit of a trek to get out here, but it’s a quiet place to focus once you are inside the gates. We just provide the space and the time for these future teachers to get their qualifications. It’s a very practical, no-nonsense kind of place where the day starts early and ends when the sun begins to set.
