We are located out on Nawa Road, in the Danta Ramgarh area of Sikar. It’s a college specifically for women, and we handle both undergraduate and postgraduate classes. The location is a bit away from the main city noise, which is actually quite nice for the students. We have a lot of women coming from different parts of the tehsil. The building is functional; we have the library and the labs that get used every day. It’s not a glamorous place, but it serves the purpose. We see a lot of students who are the first in their families to go for higher studies, so there is a lot of serious energy in the classrooms. Sometimes we have events in the common area, and things get a bit more lively then. The staff here is mostly local, and we all know how the weather in Sikar can be, so we prepare for the heat. We don’t have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just focus on the classes and making sure the exams happen when they are supposed to. It’s a lot of administrative work, honestly. Keeping track of all the registrations and paperwork takes up most of our time. But seeing the students graduate every year makes the effort feel like it was worth something. It is just a regular college life here in Danta Ramgarh for us and the local women.
