Swami Keshwanand Shikshan Sansthan

Our place is situated right on NH 11, near Bhadhdar on the Kirdoli Road in Rashidpura. Since we’re out here in Sikar, the landscape is pretty wide open, and you can see the highway traffic passing by from the upper floors. It’s a large campus, and it takes a bit of walking to get from one building to another. We’ve planted some trees over the years to help with the shade, and they’re finally starting to grow tall. The wind blows quite a bit out here, so we’re always dusting off the windows and the desks. It’s a bit of a trek for some of the staff who live in the city, but we all show up early to get things started. The routine is the same every day: unlock the rooms, check the water tanks, and get the morning session going. We have a lot of students who stay in the area, so it feels like a small village of its own sometimes. The buildings are painted a simple color, and we try to keep the grounds tidy, though the desert sand makes that a losing battle sometimes. We don’t have much in the way of luxury, but we have enough rooms and benches for everyone who needs them. It’s just a hardworking place where people come to learn and teach without making a big deal out of it. We keep our focus on the daily tasks and the students.
