A.N. T T College

A.N. T T College is located in a spot called Ramu Ka Bas, which is out near Gokulpura on the Jaipur Road. If you know Sikar, you know it can get quite dusty and dry out here, especially when the wind picks up. We focus on training people who want to become teachers. It’s a practical place. Our students come from all over the surrounding villages, often taking long bus rides just to get to class on time. The building is a simple concrete structure that stands out against the landscape. We don’t have much in the way of decoration. Inside, it’s all about the lectures and the practice sessions. We talk a lot about how to handle a classroom and how to explain things so children will understand. Many of our students are the first in their families to go into this profession, so there’s a lot of pressure on them. We try to be helpful and answer their questions, even the ones that aren't about the lessons. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just have to move the chairs closer to the windows to keep reading. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s important work. We spend our time checking assignments and making sure everyone is ready for their exams. It’s just a quiet college where people come to build a future for themselves, and we do our best to help them along through the whole process.
