We are based in Sikar, with our building located right here in the main part of the town with the pincode 332001. Sikar is the kind of place where everyone knows everyone, so we see a lot of familiar faces at the gate every day. The climate here can be pretty harsh, especially during the peak of summer when the sun is really beating down on the playground. We do what we can to keep the rooms comfortable for the kids while they are studying. The school isn't some massive complex; it’s just a regular building with the usual classrooms and a small area for the staff to sit. We’ve been here for a bit now, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the town. In the mornings, you can hear the sounds of the neighborhood waking up as the kids walk or get dropped off at the entrance. It’s a very down-to-earth atmosphere where we don't go in for anything too complicated. The staff mostly lives nearby, so we all walk or take short rides to get to work. We don't spend a lot of time talking about ourselves; we just get on with the business of teaching and making sure the school stays in good shape. It’s a practical way of doing things that seems to suit the people in Sikar just fine. There’s always some dust in the air and plenty of noise, but that’s just how it is in this part of Rajasthan.
