British Dinning

British Dinning is located inside the Shimla British Resort. You will find us on Annadale Road in Shimla, which is quite close to the Vidhan Sabha. Being in Shimla, the weather is always a big factor in how things go. The road to Annadale is a winding one, like most roads here, and we are situated in a spot that feels a bit removed from the main mall road rush. The resort itself has an old feel to it, and we just run the dining part of it. It’s a quiet place for the most part. We see tourists coming through, especially during the summer months when everyone wants to escape the heat down in the plains. We also get locals who are heading towards the Vidhan Sabha area. The atmosphere is just regular Shimla—sometimes foggy, sometimes sunny, but always a bit brisk. We don't try to be anything we aren't. It’s just a place to sit down and have a meal while you are staying at the resort or passing through Annadale. We spend our time making sure the kitchen is stocked and the tables are clean. There is a lot of history in these old buildings, and we just try to keep our bit of it running properly. It’s not a fast-paced life up here, and we like it that way. We just keep the fire going and wait for folks to come in.
