Bhojan

Bhojan is our small place on Cart Road in Shimla. We are right by the Old Bus Stand and near the Panchayat Bhawan. It gets pretty crowded here during the day because so many people are coming and going from the buses. We mostly see travelers who are just arriving in town or locals who work in the nearby shops. It’s not a fancy spot. The kitchen gets really steamy when we are cooking, and the dining area is quite simple with basic tables. We don’t have a big menu, just the usual things that people like to eat when they are hungry and in a hurry. Sometimes the noise from the buses outside is a bit loud, but you get used to it after a while. We’ve been here for several years now. We didn't really plan on being a big business or anything. We just needed a way to make a living and we knew how to cook. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't had the time to close down for that. Most of our day is spent prepping vegetables and making sure the stove is ready for the lunch rush. It’s a lot of work and our hands are always busy. We don’t use any special recipes, just the ones we’ve used for a long time. It’s a practical place for anyone looking for a meal near the bus stand.
