Rajepur Fed Farmer Producer Company Limited is located in Daheliya village. We are set up at Geeta Devi's place, not far from the post office in Gandhi. It is a small village and everyone knows everyone else. We started this because we wanted to do more for the farmers in the Rajepur area. Farming is tough, and doing it alone is even tougher. Geeta Devi has been a big part of getting us all together. The post office in Gandhi is our main point for mail, but most of our work happens right in the dirt. We deal with all sorts of farming issues every day. Rajepur Fed Farmer Producer Company Limited is really just a name for a bunch of neighbors working together. We don't use big words or have fancy meetings. We just sit together in Daheliya and figure out what we need for the next season. It is a very local operation. Sometimes we have to travel a bit to get things sorted, but Daheliya is home. We care about our land and we care about each other. It is not a corporate setup with suits and ties. We wear our work clothes and get our hands dirty. Being a producer company helps us stay organized with the government and the markets. We are just trying to make a decent living from the fields around Gandhi post office.
