Navkrati Farmer Producer Company Limited is located over in Dehalwada. Specifically we are at Atarikhejda in Vidisha. Our office is set up with Babu Lal. If you know the 464001 area then you know it's a lot of farmland and hard-working people. We started this because the local farmers needed a way to organize better. It’s not some big city operation with suits. We operate out of a small space and focus on what needs doing right here in Vidisha. People around here know Babu Lal so they find us easily enough without any big signs. The work involves a lot of talking to neighbors and sorting through what everyone is growing this season. It gets loud sometimes when everyone has an opinion at the same time. We don't have those shiny glass windows like businesses in Bhopal or Indore. It’s just a practical setup in Dehalwada. The days are long especially during harvest time when everyone is tired. We keep track of everything in our ledgers and try to make sure things run smooth. It’s about the community here. Being a farmer producer company means we are all in it together. We take things one day at a time. Some days are slow and we just sit and drink tea while we plan. Other days it's a big rush to get things sorted. We like it that way. It feels real. Navkrati is just part of the landscape here now.
