Vijaya Metal House

Our shop is located in the basement level of the Kruthika Complex on Meyyanur Main Road. Being underground at 237/1 means it stays a bit cooler than the street level, which is nice when the traffic outside gets heavy. We are right near Jain Marble, so people usually find us using that as a landmark. At Vijaya Metal House, we have shelves and shelves filled with all kinds of metal items. It can be a bit of a maze down here if you don't know where you are going. We spend our days sorting through stock and helping customers who come down the stairs looking for specific parts. The lighting isn't always the brightest, but we know where every bin and box is located. We've been here long enough that we can tell who is walking in just by the sound of their footsteps on the stairs. It’s a busy road upstairs, so there is always a hum of buses and cars. We are just a small team of regular people. We don't have any big corporate goals; we just want to make sure we have what people need when they come in. Sometimes we have to move heavy crates around, which is a bit of a workout. It’s a simple business, really. We open up in the morning, talk to the regulars, and try to keep everything in some kind of order before we close up for the night. That is just how we do things here.
