Essar Steel Hazira Limited

We are based out of M-11 in the Phase 3 Housing Unit over here in Salem. It’s a bit of a different setting compared to a big factory floor, being right in this part of Tamil Nadu. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, which is nice for a change. We have a small office space here where we manage things. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped when all the files start piling up, but we get through it. Salem is a city that knows its industry, and we are just one small piece of that puzzle. Most days involve a lot of phone calls and checking on shipments that are coming or going. We don't wear suits or anything like that; usually, it’s just comfortable clothes that can handle a bit of dirt. The tea stall around the corner is where we end up most mornings before we start the day. Being in the 636008 area means we are close to where people live, so we try to keep the noise down as much as we can. It’s a simple setup. No big billboards or flashy lights. If you need us, you just look for the unit number. We have a few computers that are a bit slow, and the printer jams sometimes, but we manage to stay on top of the work. It’s honest work, and we like being part of the Salem community. We just keep our heads down and do our jobs.
