We are based at 69-C in Ram Nagar, which is over in the Kumarasamypatty area. If you come looking for us, look for the stack of metal samples near the back. Our day usually starts pretty early because the metal trading world doesn't wait for anyone. The office is mostly full of ledgers, calculators, and samples of different metals we deal with. It’s not a very pretty place, just a lot of grey and brown furniture, but it’s where we do our best work. Ram Nagar is a decent area, though it can get pretty congested with trucks during the day. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to suppliers and checking prices. Sometimes the market is good, sometimes it isn't, and we just have to deal with it as it comes. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. There’s just a handful of us who know the business well. We drink a lot of coffee to stay awake during the long shifts. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish up the shipping manifests. We don't have any big speeches about what we do. We just buy and sell metal and try to make sure everything adds up at the end of the month. It's a bit dusty and the phones never stop ringing, but we’ve been doing this for a long time now. Most of our customers have been with us for years. It is a steady way to work.
