We are right here on Omalur Main Road, at number 8/64, not too far from the Muniappan Koil temple. If you walk past the temple, you’ll probably hear the noise from our shop before you actually see the sign. It’s a busy stretch of road, always crowded with bikes and people heading into town, but we’ve been in this spot for a while now. Most days start pretty early because there is always something that needs cutting or joining. The floors stay covered in metal shavings and the smell of burnt rod is just part of the air here. We don't really have a fancy office or anything like that. It’s just the workshop, some old chairs, and a lot of heavy tools scattered around the benches. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit outside near the entrance and watch the traffic go by until things kick back on. It’s mostly just us working through whatever pile of metal came in that morning. People know where to find us because of the temple landmark, which helps since the numbering on this road can get a bit confusing for some folks. We handle the fabrication stuff as it comes, nothing too complicated to explain. It's just what we do every day from morning until the sun goes down and we lock up the gate for the night. It gets hot inside during the summer, but that’s just how it is in this line of work.
