Trinity Vidhyalaya Matriculation School

Trinity Vidhyalaya Matriculation School is located on Rasipuram Main Road in the Mullukurichi area of Namakkal. Being right on the main road means there is always a lot of movement outside. We see the big trucks carrying goods through Namakkal all day long. The school building is a plain, functional place. We have several classrooms filled with rows of wooden benches. Some of those benches have names carved into them by students from years ago. We don't have fancy facilities like a big sports complex, but we have a small patch of ground where the kids can run around. The office is usually a bit messy with admission forms and attendance registers piled up on the desks. We try to keep the place clean, but with so many kids coming and going, there’s always a bit of dust. Most of our students come from the agricultural families nearby, and they are very hard-working. We focus on the matriculation syllabus and try to get everyone through their exams with decent marks. There isn't any air conditioning, so we keep the windows wide open to catch whatever breeze comes our way. The school bell is a simple iron plate that someone hits with a hammer. It’s a very traditional way of doing things, and it works just fine for us here in Mullukurichi. We just take each day as it comes. It's a busy life but it is ours.
