Gem Park School

Gem Park School is located in Srinivasa Colony, over in the Suramangalam area of Salem. We have buildings at No. 3 and 27, and it’s a nice, quiet spot for a school. The colony is full of houses and trees, so it feels a lot more peaceful than the center of town. In the mornings, you can see the mist on the hills around Salem if the weather is right. The school is a place where local kids come to learn their basics. We have a small playground where they can run around, and you can always hear them laughing or shouting during the afternoon break. The classrooms are simple, with fans that hum all day to keep the heat away. It’s not a fancy school with air conditioning or tablets for every student; we just use the old-fashioned way of teaching with books and blackboards. The teachers are mostly from around here, so we all know each other and the parents pretty well. It’s a very tight-knit community feel. Sometimes it’s a bit chaotic when school lets out and all the parents are waiting at the gate, but that’s just part of the daily routine. We’ve been here in Suramangalam for a long time, and we just enjoy being a local school where the kids feel at home. It’s a grounded, simple place, and we don't try to make it anything more than it needs to be. It’s just our school in the middle of Srinivasa Colony.
