Sri Vasavi Matriculation School

We are located over in Shevapet, right on Narasimman Road. It’s a crowded part of Salem, so there is always something going on outside our doors. Sri Vasavi Matriculation School has been part of this neighborhood for a long time. The building is tucked away at 2/7A, and it’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes with all the traffic. We have classrooms on a few floors, and the stairs are always busy between periods. It’s a local school, through and through. The parents usually drop their kids off on their way to work or the market. We don’t have much in the way of big grassy fields, but the kids manage to play in the courtyard during their breaks. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we spend our time on more important things. Our staff is a small group, and we all know the families who send their children here. It feels like home to most of us. You won’t find any big marketing brochures here. We just go about our business every day. Sometimes it gets loud with the horns honking outside, but once the windows are shut, we get down to the books. It’s just a regular school trying to help kids learn their subjects. We've seen many batches of students grow up and move on from here to bigger things in the city.
