Sri Saratha Mandir School

Sri Saratha Mandir School is located in Gangavalli, which is a smaller town in the Salem district. It’s a quiet area compared to the main city of Salem, and the school fits right into that peaceful environment. The building isn't very tall, but it spreads out a bit with different sections for the younger and older students. We have some trees on the grounds that provide shade during the hotter parts of the year, which the kids really appreciate during their breaks. Most of our students are from the immediate area, so many of them walk to school every morning or come by bus. The atmosphere is quite relaxed, and the teachers often know the parents by name because everyone lives close by. Inside the classrooms, you’ll find the usual setup of desks, chairs, and charts on the walls. It’s a place that feels very traditional in its way of doing things. We don't have a lot of fancy technology, but the teachers work hard with what they have. There’s a small library and a space where the kids can play some games in the yard. During the rainy season, things can get a bit muddy around the entrance, but we manage to keep things going. It’s a simple, honest school where the main goal is just to give the kids a decent education so they can do well for themselves later on in their lives.
