Sree Thulasi Vikkas Matriculation School

Our school is located in Tholasampatty, which falls under the Omalur Taluk in Salem district. The exact spot is 1/1 Thulasi Nagar. It’s a matriculation school, so we follow the standard state syllabus. The area around here is quite green and more like a big village or a small town. We have a decent-sized building with several floors to accommodate all the classes. Most of our students come from the nearby farms and houses in Tholasampatti. They either come by the school van or their parents drop them off. The morning starts with a lot of noise as the kids arrive and start playing before the bell. We have a big open space that serves as a ground for sports and physical education. The classrooms are basic, with fans that hum all day long. In the afternoons, the sun hits the building quite hard, but we have some trees around to provide a bit of shade. The teachers are mostly local residents who know the families well. It’s a very community-focused kind of place. We keep track of the attendance and make sure everyone is doing their homework. It’s just a regular part of life here in Salem, providing a place for kids to get through their schooling. There is a small bus stop nearby where many teachers wait for their ride home at the end of the day.
