Sarkarai Steels & Cements

We are set up at 6/256 A on Junction Main Road in Suramangalam. It is a very easy spot to find because we are right near the Thiruvagoundenure Bus Stop. Having the bus stop so close means there is always a lot of noise and people moving around outside our doors. At Sarkarai Steels & Cements, we handle a mix of heavy materials. Some days it is all about the steel rods and other days the cement bags are the priority. The yard is usually quite full. We try to keep the sidewalk clear, but with the trucks coming and going, it can get a bit crowded near the entrance. The traffic on Junction Main Road never really seems to stop, which keeps us on our toes. We don't have a lot of time for sitting around. When a customer shows up, we just get straight to loading. The building has been here for a while and it shows its age, but it serves its purpose for storing what we need. We don't use any big computers for the daily tally; mostly it's just notebooks and pens. It’s a simple way of doing things that works for us. The local guys know they can find us here from morning until the sun goes down. It’s just a regular local shop where we work hard and talk to the people who live and build in this part of town.
